Always Stay Focused

Always Stay Focused

In archery, there is technique involved. You need to know your distance. Slow down your breathing. Relax your grip. Steady your aim. Then and only then…release.

In order to hit the target, it takes focus. And no small measure of focus is what you are going to need if you want to hit the bull’s eye.

A competitive archer knows what they are striving for. They are aiming to get as close to the center of the center circle as possible. With enough time, practice, and preparation they will get there. Make no mistake, it takes work. If all you had to do to master the sport was to pick up a bow, grab an arrow, and let her fly, then everybody could do it on their first try. But not everybody can. There are seldom naturals to that degree. There is a lot of physics involved, and to get great at it, you have to put the time into it. The time…and the focus.

And usually you need tutelage from someone who knows the sport, someone who has spent years pursuing an understanding of the delicate subtleties of archery. They understand the physics, the balance, the adjustments, the muscles involved, the precision, and the strength and exercises required. Most importantly, they understand how to do this safely, so that you don’t hurt yourself or others in the process.

Once you take the time to learn from a professional, and take the time to practice, focus, and do the work, it can be quite fun to engage in this sport.

Imagine for a moment though if you didn’t find a good teacher. Imagine you just tried to do it on your own. Imagine if you didn’t want to put in the time and focus required to play the sport well…

Well in that case it could start to get very costly. Equipment would likely start to break down from improper use. Many arrows would get either lost or broken in the process. Heaven forbid, you might even injure yourself or someone else in the process. Now that wouldn’t be fun. It can get very expensive when you do it wrong.

Now how about your health.

If you are suffering, there is a strong chance that your structure is not healthy. You very well may need the professional adjustments of a chiropractor to get you closer to where your aim is, and hopefully your aim is long-living health. If your spine has lost its integrity, don’t try to “fix” this on your own. That can get costly. To fix to as near normal as possible, reach out to your local chiropractor. Know that they understand the physics, the balance, the adjustments, the muscles involved, the precision, and the strength and exercises required.

What you need to bring to the table is the willingness to learn, do the work, and always stay focused.
