I’ve suffered from allergies since I was in high school but they became severe toward the end of college and the early years of my marriage and career. After more than 7 doctors and more than 3 years of various drug and shot treatments for allergies, I was told that I was untreatable and that they had actually made me worse by attempting to treat me. I was told that I should move to a desert climate. That was in California in 1992. I was told not to get pregnant because it wouldn’t be safe because of the drugs I had to take and that if I didn’t take the drugs I would get so sick that I would require other drugs that would also be too dangerous during pregnancy. I had already been taken out of school and then again later out of work because of allergies for a week or two when I was told I was so sick and weak that I had to stay home in bed or go to a hospital. I had so many reactions to different medications that it was a downward spiral. I spent the first 3 years of our marriage being sick most of the time. I was actually on so many medications that I don’t remember much of that time. Instead of moving to a desert I heard about homeopathy so I found a homeopath in CA and he had me stop all medications and started treating me with homeopathy. They had me on so many medications that when I stopped taking all of them, I actually had withdrawal symptoms. Literally, every person that I came in contact with after stopping the medications noticed such a stunning difference in my personality that I was asked constantly what had changed in my life. I had come out of a 3 year drug-induced fog. I was off the medications and relieved of the side affects but I was still getting very sick monthly. In 1993, we were transferred to Texas for work. I found a General Practice M.D. there that only treats with homeopathy. He gave me my life back by keeping me off medications and rebuilding my messed up immune system. I've gotten better every year. Up until now he has been the only person that has ever been able to help me and he is still my doctor today even though I live here in WA. We were able to have two boys at a birth center drug free. And he has helped our family with many other health issues including a health issue my son had that the traditional doctors said was untreatable as well but that was resolved with homeopathy. But I still have had allergies all these years that have impacted my life until now! I am writing this on May 30th because this is the first spring in 30 years that I have truly enjoyed since I have not suffered. I have my windows open, I’m sleeping 7 hours a night instead of 10, I have great energy instead of dragging through the day, and I don’t have wads of Kleenex in my pockets. I came to the County Chiropractic Clinic for headaches, neck and shoulder pain, and reduced functionality of my left shoulder. NOT for allergies. Not only are the symptoms I came for either gone or tremendously improved, my allergies are nonexistent. I’m normal again after 30 years! I'm truly grateful! Thank you Dr. Nathan, Dr. Nick, Dr. Martin, Chris and Emily and everyone at the Clinic!!!!!! The first time I walked into the clinic, I thought it was so funny and odd that everyone was so happy. Now I understand. It's not odd, it's normal!
