A Moment For A Life Saving Decision

A Moment For A Life Saving Decision

Life can sure take some unexpected twists.  Sometimes surviving those twists is the tricky part.  A friend recently shared one of those such moments that happened just the other day.  She was tubing down a river with some friends when the unexpected happened.  Tragedy struck.  The current and the rapids in the water became too tricky to navigate and before she knew it several friends were out of their tubes and into the water.  Without another moments notice, in the water was where she soon found herself.  As she describes it, she was under the water with the current holding her pinned with a log to her back.  Looking up, all she could see was light from the surface.  Where life was to be found.  It was a moment that she never saw coming.  It was a moment for a life saving decision.

The decision that she chose was that of life.  She fought and struggled to the surface and has the bruises and sore muscles to prove it.  That and she is here to tell the story.  The story of where she was and how she fought to not be there anymore.

There is a story about health in this tale.  Where are you in regards to your health.  Are you still comparing your level of health with the sickest apparent person in the room and convincing yourself that you are doing just fine?  Is that your standard?  Are you still basing your health on how you feel?

If you are then you are primed for finding yourself taking some unexpected twists, where sometimes surviving those twists is the tricky part.  Your opportunity for your life saving decision may be right now.  It involves eating nutritious foods for your body.  It involves moving dynamic with great exercise and excellent chiropractic care.  And it involves thinking extraordinary.  Putting your health first.  Taking care of your body, because you certainly deserve to live a healthy life.

Can you see the light from under the surface?  Can you see the healthy life that you want?  It takes work and a lot of effort.  In the end you could have the bruises and sore muscles to prove it.  You could tell the story of where you were and how your fought to not be there anymore.

Or, you can let the waters of a sedentary life, of processed foods, of taking your health for granted hold you pinned to the log of uncertainty, disease, dysfunction, and the unhealthy.
